Professor and writer Antonio Martínez De Osaba, author of the text, announced to the local media that the book has been sent to the Cuban Book Institute as part of the special plan of copy printings, and will be edited by Hermanos Loynaz Publishing House.
Likewise, he added the possibilities to launch it on the occasion of the coming International Book Fair to be held on February.
The 300-page piece gathers data of the personal and sport life of the pitcher born in Pinar del Rio on May 15, 1973, who has become popular for his human and athletic qualities, as well as for his height.
According with Lazo, the best pitchers of the country are Luis Giraldo Casanova, Alfonso Urquiola, Víctor Mesa, Juan Castro, Germán Mesa and Jorge Luis Valdés, meanwhile he considers Jorge Fuentes as "the best coach in the world".
The renowned man of the mound plays with number 99, the last when he entered the team of the province, and today it is requested by other sportsmen, inspired in the success of the Pinar giant.
