In the 4th International Circus Festival Valence City, Spain, in which the leading circus figures competed, eight members of the Havana Company in their impressive number of the Flying Trapeze –Korean style- achieved the Silver Orange with this exercise which also won them last August the Great Prix in the last edition of the Circuba Festival in Havana.

Graduates from the Cuban National School, these eight wonderful and young trapeze artists made a new modality of the flying trapeze, known in aerial acrobatic arts as the Korean Trapeze. It is a characteristic modality of flying trapeze with four ports, three of them in set platforms and one in an oscillating trapeze.

These four ports launch with their hands their agile female partners between them in different heights, making the same beautiful passing, original pirouettes, death jumps and double death jumps grouped and single; ending their performance with an amazing crossing between three of the female Cuban trapeze artists.

The Paris Young Trail will now be the next expectation for these charismatic young Cubans to continue showing their art in an event, where precisely another unforgettable Cuban group, Los Montalvo, took home the much desired Gold Medal with their Flight of the Bird which is still remembered by the 1980´s generation.

It is impossible to forget the most recent awards achieved by the Cuban National Circus in the acrobatic arts festival in Wuqiao, China, where yet another young troupe, Los Ovalerys, won the Silver Lion, an award they added to their Bronze Acrobat, they won in Albacete, Spain.
