Land traffic flows Tuesday over the biggest bridge in Saigon River after the opening ceremony of the Thu Thiem mega-bridge, built with Cuban advisory.

The 0.77-mile-long work, with six tracks and a four-road tunnel, was opened this week in the densely populated city Ho Chi Minh, famous for its frequent traffic jams.

The city's top political and managerial authorities attended the opening ceremony, and aknowleged Cuban engineers' contribution who supervised the construction.

The construction of the mega-bridge is part of a project for the opening of 10 new bridges, to which the country approved a $363-million budget.
