It will be a set of styles and schools, a harmonic dialogue sewn by the Russian dancers Elena Andrienko, Ruslan Skvorsto, Ana Antonicheva, Dimitri Belogolovstsev, Galina Stepanka and Vladimir Neporozhni, together with stars from the company directed by the prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso.
The cast includes important Cuban artists such as Anette Delgado, Sadaise Arencibia, Viengsay Vald?s, Javier Torres and Elier Bourzac.
They are joined by other members of the Cuban company in a program that alternates pieces from the traditional repertoire, such as the pas de deux from The Nutcracker, The Corsair, Spartacus, The Black Swan and Raymonda and the adagios from The Swan Lake, Giselle and Carmen Suite.
This is rounded with The tango from the ballet Golden Century, Bhakti and Acento, this one interpreted by five Cuban dancers.
With a capacity for five thousand spectators, the Karl Marx will greet a public of ballet lovers and ballet connoisseurs next February 13, two days after the opening of the festival.
