Awarded Ukrainian Children to Travel to Cuba

According to Victoria Lavrentina, worker of the humanitarian contest called "The Planet of the Strong", those children with deaf, dumb, physical and motor difficulties have the capacity to express their spirituality through art.
Lavrentina, who is the promoter of this project, said that what they did was to stimulate them and to award them.
This event is part of the activities for the 20th Anniversary of the Service Program for Children Affected by the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster on March 29.
Irena Kilchitskaya, Kiev Vice-Mayor, thanked to Cuban people's aid to Ukrainian one during all these years.
She also pointed out the fact that those 20 awarded children will travel to Cuba as part of their rehabilitation.
Cuban Ambassador in Ukraine Felix Leon Carballo expressed his satisfaction for a project in which children can feel part of the world taking into account their disabilities.
He reiterated that the Chernobyl program will continue as long as an Ukrainian children need it.
