“Cuban for the World—its director Robertico Carcasses says—it’s a much more mature disk, although I never expect to become of musical age, because my life is a continuous learning process.”
Produced by the record house Bis Music the album includes eleven tracks and among the guest artists appear Bobby Carcasses, Yusa, Descemer Bueno, David Torrens, William Vivanco, and Kelvis Ochoa.
“The recording was very spontaneous and organic, the musicians blended perfectly and we are very satisfied with the result. The lyrics of the album approach the contemporary social reality and the context of Cubans’ life wherever they are”, Robertico commented.
The artist that in parallel with his functions as leader of Interactivo participates in several solo projects like the making of music for audiovisual materials, admits that the greatest satisfaction during this whole time has been “to see how the band works driven by the wills of all those implied, which makes musicians to blend perfectly and feel good working together.”
Interactivo has among its merits that of having audiences from different origins and musical tendencies to approach their concerts, either rock and roll, trova, passing through hip hop, reggae until Cuban popular music, thanks to the creation of a sound universe that has nothing to do with the concept of stylistic borders.
