Parallel to this event, organized by the Cuban Ministry of Education, it will take place the 11th International Workshop on the Teaching of Physics.
Besides local participants, experts from Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, USA, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela will be in Havana Conventions Palace, the venue of the congress.
The general theme of the meetings agenda is teaching and learning of natural and exact sciences in all types and levels of education.
During this decade, the United Nations have promoted education for sustainable development with particular emphasis on progress and scientific results, remembers the organizers' call.
