The Cuban company, with a highest level performance, presented other relevant interpretations, as is the case of the Spanish Dance, by Sadaise Arencibia and Dani Hernández, as well as the pas de trois with brilliant performances by Alejandro Virelles, Yanela Piñera and Amaya Rodríguez. Osiel Gounod also offered an outstanding interpretation in the role of the Buffoon.
The famous version of Swan Lake by Alicia Alonso, was accompanied by the magnificent Coliseum Theater orchestra, conducted by Maestro Giovanni Duarte.
The memorable debut of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba in London, was cheered by the London public at the end of the show; applause that reached a climax when Alicia Alonso took the stage to greet with the Cuban dancers.
The BNC will be performing at the Coliseum Theater until April 4th. The tour will continue to Manchester with performances at the Lowry Theater.
