The 3rd Biennial of Oral Narrative will be held in Cuba

Counting guests and competitors the Biennale will have the participation from next 2 and until the 7 of over seventy artists from the gesture and word world.
Present edition will be dedicated to Zaida Montells, from Camaguey, for her 30 years of artistic life.
Montells is the main sponsor of this movement in Camaguey, where she has carried out an important work with children, young people and adults through her workshops.
Storytellers from the Cuban provinces of Matanzas, Guantánamo, Holguín, Pinar del Río, Villa Clara, Santiago de Cuba, La Habana, Las Tunas, Ciego de Ávila, and Camagüey, permanent seat of the event sponsored by the communitarian cultural institution Proyecto Ejo.
Different public spaces of this city will receive the storytellers, imbued in projects for the different public, with the main objective of rescuing and keeping the oral narrative in Cuba.
During the last years of the 70 Francisco Garzon Céspedes, from Camaguey, created the movement in Cuba together with Peña de los Juglares in Havana.
Today are held every modality of oral stage narrative such as oral stage narrators, artistic narrators, and popular story tellers and talkative.
