Little Finger, a play that is an adaptation of Jose Marti''s homonymous work, won the award in its category in the 10th Emilio Aparicio International Amateur Theater Festival, held in this capital.

  The jury's decision was based on "an excellent combination of a great dramatic text, production and a stage speech full of images, role interpretation at the verge of being sublime, and the capacity to turn theater space into poetic space."

The play is an adaptation by Cuban Husmell Diaz, who graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts, specializing in theater for children, and was premiered at the Casa Teatro (Theater House) institution in this capital in 2009.
