Cuba to Host First Int’l Congress of ELAM Graduates

Dean of the Medical Sciences University in Santiago Rosa Duconger said ELAM graduates will analyze the impact in the world of the training of health professionals in Cuba.
Duconger said professors are going to be very happy to meet again with their former students who were particularly trained to safe lives under difficult conditions.
Participants will exchange experiences on other important topics such as children and pregnant women care programs, reproduction, quality of life, transmissible diseases, senior citizens, cancer, odontology and biomedicine, among others.
Simultaneously, the First Congress of Basic and Clinical Sciences will be held for the discussion of scientific topics among researchers, professors, doctors, nurses and students.
Santiago de Cuba’s institution was founded 30 years ago from which over 12,000 health professionals from Cuba and other 49 countries have graduated.
