Health insurance for Cuba's travellers

Because of the 48-year trade embargo with the United States, Cuba does not accept American insurance policies, so travelers from here have to purchase coverage.
The cost: about the same as Big Mac and fries. Roughly $3 a day pays for up to $7,560 in medical expenses, although because health care in Cuba is inexpensive, $3 a day might be all the coverage most tourists need.
