The news that the next International Tourism Fair will be devoted to Mexico and to the City of Havana as central attractions and a multi-destination product was part of the topics discussed in the third session of FITCuba 2010.
"Both the annual fairs, main forums of the tourism sector in Cuba, and the rest of the events carried out by the systems or entities are a unique opportunity for interchanging with professionals of this sector, of establishing relations and feed back," Aleida Castellanos, director of Communication of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), told Granma newspaper.
"If we do not organize spaces to show our attributes, promote our offers, and listen to the opinions of the representatives of these industries, we do not sell.
With that aim, MINTUR annually summons to the FOTOSUB event of underwater pictures, to the Ernest Hemingway International Sword Fish Tournament, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and to the International Tourism Fair itself."
