He said that Nicaragua's multidestination project covers for attractive and comfortable packages aimed at improving regional communications, tourism and agribusiness Minister Salinas said President Daniel Ortega government's NDP, beares in mind the positive results of tourism since 2007 with revenues rounding $120M.
The tourism bill covers for the construction and/or improvement of airports, ports and marinas to harbor cruise ships, hotels and other lodgings to promote family and ecotourism and boost environment-friendly awareness and help preserve local cultural heritage.
The agrotourism program, to take off with 90 farms and cooperatives, will run a forestation and housing policy to fit in visitors, helping upgrade rural life and agribusiness.
The Nicaraguan official reminded that 32 cruisers docked in Nicaragua in 2007 and 2010 quarterly visits already number 62.
