HAVANA, Cuba, May 8 (acn) Esteban Lazo, Vice-president of the Council of State, is heading the Cuban delegation that will participate on Saturday in the swearing-in ceremony of the new Costa Rican head of state, Laura Chinchilla Miranda.

The delegation is also made up by Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra and other
officials from the government, the Granma newspaper reports.

The ceremony is scheduled for midday Friday at La Sabana Metropolitan Park, in San Jose, Costa Rica.
