Specialists from around 20 nations will meet until Thursday at the National Hotel of Cuba, in Havana, about the use of agro-ecological techniques in favour of agriculture and the environment.

During the Eighth National Meeting of Organic and Sustainable Agriculture, the participants will present experiences in the use of alternatives to mitigate the lack of resources and means traditionally used in the branch.

At the meeting, organized by the Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forestry Technicians (ACTAF), will be discussed promotion and awareness of agro ecology, technologies for sustainable agriculture, global warming and climate change.
