Robles, 2008 Olympic Champion and world record holder (12.87 seconds), clocked this time 13.26, to lose to American David Oliver who covered the distance in 13.11, while Jamaican Dwight Thomas finished third with 13.40.
This was Robles’s first outdoors race this season, and a good opportunity to get to know the track where the 2011 World Athletics Championships will be held.
Cuban triple jump world champion (outdoors and indoors) Yargelis Savigne finished sixth in long jump with a 6.37 meters leap.
Jamaican Usain Bolt won the 100 meters with a 9.86 seconds time, well ahead of his compatriot Michael Frater (10.15) and American Mike Rodgers (10.18).
Robles will debut in the IAAF Diamond League next May 23 in Shanghai, China.
