Cuba kept the winning streak with a tense victory

For the second straight night, Cuba defeated Argentina in the FIVB World League, but this time the victory was 3:2 (32-34, 25-23, 20-25, 25-17, 15-13) after 2:33 hours of play in Ciudad Deportiva Coliseum.
Cuba made many mistakes in the first set that were exploited at maximum by Argentina, but then leveled the score. Both teams enrolled in a battle that finished with the victory for the visitors after 66 points.
In the second set Argentina kept scoring first. Javier Weber´s boys had decoded the gameplay of the Cubans and achieved a comfortable lead of 15-20.
However, the Cubans rallied and tied the match at one set with a stunning 25-23 victory, leaded by the rookie, left handed opposite player, Fernando Hernández.
The third set only have a name: Argentina. The cuban team was lost all the time and made several mistakes, wich combined with the effective ball distribution of the Agentinean setter to a confortable victory of 25-20.
Cuba recovered an started ahead in the fourth set, with Argentina always trailing by one. Again the cubans made the same errors and insisted with rookie Fernando Hernánd
At the tie break, Cuba controlled the game all the time and the pressure was again unbearable for the Argentines who finally lost 15-13.
In their next FIVB World League match Cuba host Germany in the same arena, while Argentina host Poland in San Juan.
