The digital forum La música cubana de hoy y de siempre (The Cuban music today and always) keeps receiving numerous visits and messages.

The forum started with the texts written by Radamés Giro, Emir García y Tony Pinelli.

The exchange, conceived by the Cuban Music Institute and Cubarte, has the purpose to debate everything relating the Cuban music about creation, diffusion, teaching, research, production, commercialization and structures that boost its development.

The forum is available, for everybody who is interested, at the following electronic address www.foroscubarte.cult.cu, where it is possible to add comments, suggestions and questions.

Messages about worries and questions regarding if there is a coherent and integral policy for the development of music in Cuba, the production and commercialization of the records in our country, the need to revitalise the Cuban rhythms from all times, the work of the music instructors and the need of preventing the diffusion in our media of musical pieces with humiliating and obscene letters as part of many other questions, can be read in the pages of the forum. Up this moment the forum has received the visit of thousand of readers and hundred of messages.

The debate started during the Cubadisco 2010 International fair, which closed its doors the 23 of May. The organizers of the forum expect a special session in which personalities of the sector will offer date and consideration. The date of that event will be made public in the near future.
