Cuba displays interest to expand trade cooperation with Azerbaijan

Prospects for expanding trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cuba will be discussed in Baku in September, said Cuban ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcello Caballero Torres.
"Discussions will be conducted during the visit of the delegation of Cuban businessmen headed by Chairman of Chamber of Commerce of Cuba to Azerbaijan," added Torres.
Also during Cuban delegation's visit, the possibility of holding a business forum in Azerbaijan will be discussed, the ambassador said.
According to Torres,a similar forum was held in 2007 in Cuba.
According to the ambassador, the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov is also supposed to visit Cuba in October to sign agreements with his counterpart in this country.
Cuba and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Intentions two years ago.
