Cuban classics to please Japanese public

The films La muerte de un burócrata, Lucia, and Las doce sillas -Cuban cinema classics- were exhibited on DVD format to the Japanese public, who had already accessed to other memorable films like Memorias del Subdesarrollo and Suite Habana.
The chapter "Che" from the Cuban collection "Caminos de Revolución" is to be released as well as the film Kangamba, while announcing on Japan television the movie Fresa y Chocolate, a Cuban gem of the 1990s.
The Cuban film, almost unknown to the Japanese a few years ago, increasingly have better reception, thanks to the presence of our films at the Festival of Sapporo, in the Latin Beat Film Festival in special exhibitions and the existence of the blog "Corner of Cuban Cinema", created by specialist Sachiko Terashima.
