Solidarity with Cuba on the Rise in Latin America

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 20 (acn) The 10th Congress of the Bolivian Solidarity-with-Cuba Movement (MBSC) will be held in the city of Oruro on October 2 and 3.

The forum will have, among its main themes, the struggle for the release of the five Cuban antiterrorists unfairly imprisoned in the United States since 1998 and the defense of the Cuban Revolution in the face of the media war, Prensa Latina news agency reports.

The source adds that delegates will also focus on tasks for the ideological training of the various movements and the support for internationalist brigades of health and education, as well as social workers.

They will also condemn the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by Washington for over five decades now.
