Alejandro Brugues to Film a Zombies Comedy

Cuban filmmaker Alejandro Brugues, known for his debut film "Personal Belongings", is working in his new film, a horror comedy titled "Juan de los Muertos" (Juan of the Dead), Cuban News Agency published.
The Cuban Institute on Cinematographic Arts and Industry (ICAIC) informed that in the film, Havana city is invaded by a legion of flesh-eating zombies.
According to the plot people panic while rumors spread that the riots are caused by forces in the service of the U.S.
Then appears Juan, the hero of the film, who dedicates himself to exterminate the infected family members of his clients at home, at an affordable price.
"Juan of the dead, we kill your loved ones", is the slogan of this particular character played by Alexis Diaz de Villegas, who is accompanied by his friend Lazaro played by Jorge Molina.
In the film also act Andros Perugorria, as Vladi California, the son of Lazaro, as well as Jazz Vila and Eliecer Ramirez, who play "la china" (the Chinese) and "el primo" (the cousin), respectively.
Brugues, who is both director and screenwriter, said that in this zombie comedy there is fun for everyone. Next September will begin the shooting of the film, a co-production between La Zanfona Productions of Spain and 5th Avenue Productions, Cuba.
