Big changes are happening with Cuba travel. Many more Americans will finally be able to visit the island.
President Obama is set to relax prohibitions soon.
His new rules will mean hundreds of thousands more visitors flooding into Cuba.
But, there is no need to wait for changes from Washington and be left out on account of overbooked tours and too few rooms and services.
If you're engaged in education, healthcare, law, architecture, the arts, and many other professions, you can go now, on a license and without complications.
We assist at every stage.
Cuba Education Tours has official status on the island. Our programs get priority treatment after ten years of stellar relations with Cuba.
We have five fabulous tours remaining this year. These itineraries are detailed at http://CubaFriends.com/
* Boomers Whole Cuba Tour (Nov 12 to 21). You'll witness the island from West to East and explore its two cultural capitals of Havana and Santiago de Cuba.
Participants are adventurers who love people and discovery. You'll meet Cubans from all walks of life and get to know their vibrant lifestyle. The tour emphasizes the arts, history and architecture. You'll return home having seen the best of Cuba.
* Havana Int'l Jazz Festival Cuba Tour (Dec 12 to 21). Our most popular program hands down. You'll traverse two provinces: cosmopolitan Havana and rural Pinar del Rio. You'll rub shoulders with Jazz greats from every continent. You'll be amongst the in-crowd during music events and enjoy privileged access to all venues. No line-ups, front row seats. How about ten days of revelry and world-class jazz?
* Cuban Holiday Discovery Tour (Dec 23, 2010 to Jan 1, 2011). This tour is for people who want to kick back and relish pristine tropical nature and Cuban culture. It is all-inclusive. Participants are spared the anxiety of holiday
pressures at home. If you like palm trees, crystal clear seas, dance, music and all that is romantic and historic about Cuba, this tour's for you. We call it our great escape program.
* New Years Teachers Introduction to Cuba Tour (Dec 26, 2010 to Jan 2, 2011). A focused program for teachers and people who believe learning is a right and gift we bestow to our children and grandchildren. Participants get a comprehensive
look into Cuba's famed system of instruction, a model emulated in scores of nations. Many teachers find support from their schools to be part of this professional development occasion.
* New Years Cultural Insight Tour (Dec 26, 2010 to Jan 2, 2011). Have you ever dreamed of connecting with Cubans and discussing ideas for a better world? This program features an overview of the culture and society born on January 1, 1959.
You'll usher in the year with Cubans on their day of independence. The tour is popular with Americans who are advocates of peace, equality and sustainability.
Cubans are eager to meet you and make friends with their northern cousins.
