Alex Cuba Nominated for Latin Grammys

Fri, 2010-09-10 19:22.Local News. Smithers' Alex Cuba has been nominated for another award, this time in the United States.

The two-time Juno award winner is in the running for two Latin Grammy awards -- Best New Artist and Best Male Pop Vocal Album for his third album.

The Cuban-born musician, whose real name is Alexis Puentes, was on hand when the nominations were announced Wednesday in Los Angeles.  And he'll be in Las Vegas on November 11th, when the winners are revealed.
