Cuban singer-songwriter Polito Ibañez, one of the most popular in the so-called very modern trova music, will perform a concert next Friday September 17, at 10 pm in 9 and 120 Streets, Playa.

Polito will be accompanied by his musicians and will play songs from his broad repertoire including different genres such as trova, pop, rock and even jazz.

The author of "Para no pensar" and "Somos números" is celebrating his 25th anniversary as a composer. He has been lucky because his lyrics have been applauded on Cuban and foreign stage. Besides, he has performed along with great of Cuban music like Silvio and Pablo, and world symbols like Joaquin Sabina.

Polito’s songs show a fair vision of life, love, and society. Songs such as "Doble Juego", main song of a Cuba’s soap opera or "Como a mujeres" reflect that his work is preferred by different audiences with a special focus on youth.
