Solidarity meeting with Cuba starts Today

Luanda - The 3rd African meeting of solidarity with Cuba started in Luanda today with the aim to consolidate the excellent friendly ties between african people Africa and Caribbean Island.
The two day conference is also meant to express and strenghten solidarity with Cuba and the participating countries.
Among the 250 delegates from Africa are the prime minister of Guinea Bissau, Carlos Gomes Júnior, the speaker of the Seychelles islands, and mozambican statesman Marcelino dos Santos.
The conference, gathering representatives of 29 countries, is jointly organized by the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidariety with Peoples, the Angola/Cuba Friendship Association and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with People.
Previous meetings were held in Ghana and South Africa.
