No date on this Siboney label LP from Cuba but imagine its early 80's or maybe even the 70's. The Chepin-Choven orchestra has reached its 60 anniversary in the city of Santiago de Cuba. Its directors have been  Horruitinier Rosell (Chepin) and Bernardo Choven (Choven), This band dedicated to the development and dissemination of Cuban popular music and dance.

It has a band jazz orchestra format.An important moment in the history of this versartile group has been its awards in different cultural events in the eastern region back in the 70's  and 80's decades.

Its repertoire is made of various genres of music and they mainly cultivated bolero, guaracha, son, danzon and Son Montuno. Major activities involved include: The ler.
