Bolivia: 25.5 Tons of Cocaine Seized

By: Heidy Morin Rueda. Sunday, 14 de noviembre de 2010. 11:47La Paz, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) The Special Force against Drug Trafficking in Bolivia seized 25.5 tons of cocaine in 1 200 operations conducted throughout the country from January to date.
The national director of the body, Col. Gonzalo Quezada said that these actions also captured 3, 200 people of different nationalities, who are processed by the courts in the cities of Santa Cruz and La Paz.
Most of those arrested are Bolivians, although there are foreigners, including Colombians, Brazilians, and many Peruvians, he said.
Now deeper investigations take place to establish links of apprehended foreigners with native traffickers, Quezada said, quoted by radio Erbol.
