Cuban Theater in India

Escrito por Dayami Interián García. miércoles, 22 de diciembre de 2010. New Delhi, Dec 22 (Prensa Latina) The theater company "El Ciervo Encantado" is representing Cuba at the 3rd International Theater Festival that began Wednesday in Kerala, dedicated this year to Latin America.
The theater company will stage "Visiones de la Cubanosofía," a play on Cuban identity, according to the event's organizing committee and the Cuban mission in that capital.
Also forming part of the Cuban delegation that travelled to India is the Vice President of the National Council of Dramatic Arts, Rafael Perez-Malo.
The festival welcomes four groups from Chile, and one each from Bolivia, Mexico, and Colombia.
Spain, Russia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the host country are also represented in the event organized by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, among other sponsors.
The festival's main attraction will be the six-hour long spectacle "Las Indias," which involves 45 actors from Chile and Kerala, and takes a journey through Latin America from the post-Columbus period to date.mh/rab/dig/mv/nm Modificado el ( miércoles, 22 de diciembre de 2010 )
