Cuba to increase vaccine sales to Vietnam

HANOI, Jan 29 (NNN-Prensa Latina) -- In 2011, Cuba will increase sales to Vietnam of vaccines for Hepatitis B and other biotechnology products, after signing a technology transfer agreement on Friday in this capital.

The contract between the Cuban company Heber Biotech and Vietnamese pharmaceutical firm Hapharco is worth $2.5 million USD, 20 percent higher than in 2010.

The Heber Biotech sales manager for South East Asia, Mai Thao, said obstacles to the distribution of these Cuban products in Vietnam had been overcome.
