Havana, Cuba.- Cuba and Italy signed on Friday a memorandum of understanding between the Foreign Ministries of the two nations to develop their relations of friendship and cooperation, the Granma newspaper reported on Saturday.

Present in the signing of the document were Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodriguez, and Vicenio Scotti, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Relations of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the text, the memorandum establishes the carrying out of consultations on topics of common interest between the foreign ministries of the two countries.(ACN)
