2011.03.31 - 09:07:53 / wradiorebelde.icrt.cu. HAVANA, CUBA.- The presentation of Cuba’s National Ballet Company (BNC) in the park of Cozumel Island, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, was described as fascinating by members of the audience.
Their wonderful technique, precision and clean turns was what I liked the most, a young Mexican dancer told a reporter of the local digital channel To2TV.com, while giving her her impressions on the production.
For her part, the journalist commented that, during its second to last performance of Swan Lake, the classic ballet troupe displayed professionalism, beauty and elegance, the Prensa Latina, news agency reported.
In their conversation with the reporter, several members of the audience shared the same opinion with regard to the excellence, quality, dedication and commitment of the young members of the BNC, one of the most prestigious ballet companies worldwide.
Reports by local media outlets pointed out that over 5,000 residents in Quintana Roo enjoyed every step, technique and artistic expression of the BNC during its three presentations in emblematic places of the southern Mexican state.
The access to these performances was free of charge, thanks to the joint work of the Mexican National Council for Culture and Arts, the government of the state of Quintana Roo, and the private sector, added the source. (ACN)
