HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Solomon Star, April 26, 2011) - Solomon Islands will open two new foreign missions next month, one in Cuba and another in Geneva, Switzerland.

The national broadcaster, Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation reported that Foreign Affairs Minister Peter Shanel told parliament the Geneva Embassy will co-ordinate Solomon Islands interests with United Nations agencies and other international organizations based there.
