By: Ana Julia Suarez Cruz. Havana, Aug 25 (Prensa Latina) The development of the Cuban tourism demands a high professional standard of the workers of the sector, chiefly bartenders, acknowledged the executives of Havana Club International Corporation S.A.
During a seminar on cocktail and French Pernod Ricard brands, participants agreed on the growing interest of Cuban tourism workers to improve their knowledge and give the best possible service to foreign visitors.
In that meeting, Havana Club International was in favour of promoting the technical and professional training of the bartenders in order to improve the position of its brands in the world and increase the sales of this Cuban emblematic rum.
The chief of the Havana Club brand, Mirelis Acosta, said it is about joining forces with the members of the Cuban Bartenders Association (ACC) in order to achieve the highest quality service.
Acosta said that the bartender plays an important role in promoting the Cuban rum, because the bartender is the person in charge of guiding the client and for that he needs a lot of knowledge.
