By: Yaimara Villaverde. AIN. 27 de Agosto 2011. Guantánamo, (AIN). – A standing ovation was conquered in this city by the show for children and adults Canción para estar contigo, which stars the excellent soprano Bárbara Llanes and the Theatre company las Estaciones and Danza Espiral.
The stage of the puppet theatre received the well achieved presentation, that tells the story of filial love, hope and life, which original idea came from the own Llanes, one of the most important Cuban lyric voices, who is very closed and linked with theatre, an artistic expression she confesses she loves.
The story, created by the Singer was textually organized by the dramatist and poet Norge Espinosa and had its premiere at the Papalote Hall in Matanzas, last July, under the direction of Rubén Darío Salazar, director of Las Estaciones theatre group.
The success, now in Guantanamo, show the good acceptance once again to the show, which became a smart concert of artistic expressions, very well supported by the music, performances and the use of puppets, masks, dress design, stage design, lights and audio visual screening.
"Canción para estar contigo" tries to join the sound education of children hearing, with the magic support of theatre staging.
The beautiful voice of Bárbara Llanes is used as a host of the play, which includes poems for children, written by great Latin American writers, with a beautiful music by the Cuban soprano, made for this occasion.
The colorful characters of children fantasy, also arise the delight of the Guantanamo audience, such as Güije, Don Bigote, the doll Alubia and the clown Girador, played by the actors Luis Torres, Iván García, Karen Sotolongo and the dancer Yadier Durán.
This presentation is part of a national tour, which started in the Cuban Eastern province and which will include Santiago de Cuba, Granma, Camagüey, Villa Clara, Pinar del Río and Havana, a city in which it will en don the 10 and 11 of coming September.
