Tropical Storm Lee Northbound

By: Heidy Morin Rueda. Havana, Sep 3 (Prensa Latina) Tropical storm Lee will approach the coast of Louisiana, United States, from late afternoon today or early on Sunday, according to reports from the Cuban Institute of Meteorology.
Although its movement is very slow and erratic, with a course between northwest and north, the 13th storm of the current season could gain organization and intensity before it makes landfall.
Lee has maximum sustained winds of up to 85 kph with higher gusts, and its minimum central pressure has dropped to 995 hPa, according to the report.
At six o'clock the central region was estimated at 28.9 degrees north latitude and 91.9 degrees west longitude, a position that places it at 114 miles southeast of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
