The Cuban Lizt Alfonso Ballet Company Performs in Mexico

2011.09.17 - 13:05:11 / radiorebelde.icrt.cu. Havana, Cuba.- Cuba’s Lizt Alfonso Ballet Company is in Mexico to perform in Chihuahua and Ciudad Juarez, when the emotions felt in Germany for the resounding success of the premiere of its show Amigas is still fresh in its memory.

The group’s stay coincides with National Day celebrations in that country, where the public will have the opportunity to enjoy Fuerza y Compas, a piece very much welcomed at important stages in the world, the Company’s sources informed.

This is the second visit of the Lizt Alfonso Ballet to Mexico, since in 2009 it participated in the Fiestas del Pitic, in Hermosillo, when the troupe captivated some 10,000 people with the excellence of its dancers and musicians.

On Friday, the Company, completely formed by women, danced at the Victor Hugo Rascon Banda Theater of Ciudad Juarez, and on September 18 it will make a presentation at Los Heroes, in Chihuahua.(ACN)
