Cienfuegos, Sancti Spiritus and Villa Clara, in Central Cuba, are the destinations with a harmonic ensemble of natural, historic and cultural sites.

Mauricio Novoa, specialist of Sancti Spiritus Tourism Ministry Office, mentioned a tour of Topes de Collantes, a reserve 20 km of Trinidad, a historical town declared World Cultural Heritage, where they will visit La Casa de la Gallega (farmhouse), Hacienda Codina (farm), El Cubano and La Represa (dam).

In Caguanes National Park -covering a surface of 22,490 ha of terrestrial and coastal/marine ecosystems, a combination the UNESCO declared Biosphere Reserve- they will tour Jobo Rosado protected area, Alunao Valley, Valdes Cave (among 79 discoveries) and La Solapa de Genaro.

Through hiking the participants will be able to watch protected species, the flora, fauna and endangered species inventories, the charting, mapping and management of native wildlife.

They will know about the rehabilitation of degraded ecosystems and the rational use of resources in former settlements of pre-Hispanic indigenous people, pirates and smugglers.

TURNAT-2011 will close in San Jose del Lago Village in Yaguajay, Sancti Spiritus. The event will be attended by a record foreign participation from Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, Mexico, Ecuador and Panama, plus Cuba as host.
