The work will involve the collaboration of sculptor Alberto Lescay, who confirmed the rise of these art forms in the city, where there are many murals and sculptures in public spaces.
In this revival include exposure Self Portrait, Dominguez, who since August has attracted audiences with his remarkable dimensions and aesthetic values in the Heredia theater in addition to that shown by Alexis Leyva (Kcho) in the museum of the former Moncada barracks.
The new gallery opened in the former parking lot of the Plaza de la Revolución Antonio Maceo will open greater opportunities for creative and add another option to approach the arts.
International events such as Terracotta, dedicated to ceramics, and internally, a wall painting by Luis Díaz Cultural Workshop, have favored these strands and left a considerable sediment in the visuality of the city.
After two decades, all dedicated to the Liberation Army Lieutenant General, with his equestrian figure and 23 steel machetes, is one of the greatest exponents of the monumental sculptural creation in Cuba.
