Four Cuban dancers in the world top 100

Viengsay Valdes, Alejandro Virelles, Dani Hernandez and Osiel Gounod, stars of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba are among the 100 best dancers in the world in the 2010-2011 season, according to the magazine Dance of Europe.
Viengsay Valdes occupies fourth place among women and sixth in the world list, Dani Hernandez is located on the site 17, at 18 Alejandro Virelles and 21 Osiel Gounod.
Selection is also integrated Europe Dance dancers as relevant as the French Sylvie Guillem, Aurélie Dupont and Nicolas Le Riche, the Spanish Tamara Rojo, Lucia Lacarra, Jose Martinez and Alicia Amatriain, the Russians Natalia Osipova, Ivan Vasiliev and Diana Vishneva, the Romanian Alina Cojocaru, Americans Julie Kent and Rasta Thomas, the English Steven McRae, the Brazilian Marcelo Gomes Marianela Nunez and Argentina, among others.
The jury was composed of prominent critics from around the world, representatives of relevant publications such as The Guardian, London, Dance Magazine, U.S., The Toronto Star, Canada, Danse, France, The Herald, Scotland; El Pais, Uruguay, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Germany, the Sydney Morning Herald, Australia, and other specialists as important as capital Lisbon, Tokyo, Paris, New York, Madrid, Munich, Florence, Milan and Rotterdam.
