Some of the most important advances in health and biotechnology in Cuba will be exhibited at the XXIX International Havana Fair which opens on Monday in Havana.
Among them are the Heberprot-P, a product of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology effective for treating diabetic foot ulcers and lyophilized, whose active ingredient is recombinant human growth factor.
The Fair will also show the benefits of Vidatox, homeopathic product made from scorpion toxins that manages to improve the quality of life in patients with cancer and increase life expectancy.
The appointment will be presented ExpoCuba based rehabilitation program for blind and deaf children with cochlear implants, as well as rounds of negotiations, signing of agreements and the promotion of Cuban exports of goods and services in the field of health.
