Beijing will host the National Ballet of Cuba

Jiajia Gong, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Havana, announced that the National Ballet of Cuba will participate in the upcoming Beijing International Festival, which will be held in May next year.
Gong said that the visit of the BNC will be "well received" by the "high reputation" in the Chinese public that the director of dance company, Alicia Alonso.
The diplomat recalled that Alonso has been in China three times, "in which not only has shared with his people, but also with the leaders at the highest level."
The new BNC trip to Beijing is part of the program to deepen cultural relations between both countries, which have been "very dynamic" this year on the island, he said.
In June, took place on XI Festival of Chinese Culture in ExpoCuba Fairgrounds, dedicated to 164 anniversary of the arrival in the Caribbean island of the early Chinese immigrants.
Also, the hall hosted Chaplin Chinese Film Week, from 24 to 31 October, during which he exhibited nine of the most modern movies that nation.
"Despite the geographical distance between us, the political ties between Cuba and China are very good, and I hope that in the culture directly proportional to behave," he said cultural counselor.
