Underwater Photography World Championship in Cuba

The Cuban touristy sector authorities stated that May 2013 is the date agreed for the celebration on the island of Underwater Photography World Championship.

Business Group President Marlin Marinas and Marine SA, Jose Miguel Diaz, said the event is an opportunity to promote the Cuban underwater heritage, and images recorded in its diversity and endemism.

Similarly, Diaz made ​​a call to another contest scheduled for next year: International Underwater Photography Event Fotosub 2012, to be held in Cayo Largo del Sur, Cuba, according to the National Information Agency.

Both competitions will take place in the area Canarreos Archipelago, south of the Caribbean island due to their housing conditions and mobility.

The previous edition of Underwater Photography World Championship was held this year in Turkey, which hosted 88 teams from several countries, including Spain won the most awards.
