Timor Leste appreciates Cuban medical cooperation

Laffitte Luis Julian Rodriguez, Cuban Ambassador to Timor Leste, and Nelson Martins, health minister of that country, had a friendly meeting in which the representative thanked the Asian nation that has provided medical assistance to his country the Cuban nation.
During the exchange discussed issues of cooperation and reviewed issues of mutual interest, according to the digital portal Cubaminrex.
Laffitte, meanwhile, reiterated Cuba's commitment to continue supporting the institutions and in particular the Ministry of Health, Timor Leste, in order to consolidate and develop an efficient public health system and high grade.
Martins explained the details of the job placement of recent graduates of a medical career, so that these young doctors are incorporated as soon as possible to provide services in communities of their country.
The minister insisted on thanking the Cuban collaboration by a significant increase in the number of specialists trained in the Caribbean nation, particularly in the field of health.
Timor Leste in the coming years will more than 1 000 doctors who graduated with the cooperation it would make the West Indian and Asian country one of the states with highest per capita number of clinicians.
This meeting, corroborated the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between the two nations.
