Miniature Art Exhibition in Sancti Spiritus

José Martí Cultural Society in Sancti Spiritus haorganizado an exhibition of miniature works of art created by Cuban artists. The exhibition of 80 works much dominated the paint and sculpture.
The opening of this exhibition is part of the Fourth Chamber on this technique, devoted this year to the rescue of the thumbnails in the arts.
According to Nazario Salazar, an official of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba in the province of Camagüey, every day grows the number of people-amateurs and established artists, interested in developing this art.
At the exhibition stand works linked to the ideology of Spiritus Marti Nelson Wenceslao Garcia.
The thoroughness of a goldsmith and watchmaker is what prevails in most of the sample, forcing the public to use a magnifying glass to observe accurately the details.
According to historians, miniature painting arose in the sixteenth century to decorate a special medallions.
