Rouen Opera presents in Cuba

Between Cuba and France is developing a cultural exchange program and other activities will include concerts on the island, between 2 and 3 March, the Opera Orchestra of Rouen.
The first day was held in the Cuban province of Matanzas, and the second is planned in the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Havana, told reporters today the Cuban clarinetist, who lives in France, Lester Chio.
Chio, behind the project, said he and the musicians invited French Florent Audibert (cello) and Helane Bordeaux (violin) will offer a recital that includes a varied repertoire.
Giving details of the program, said that includes works by Antonin Dvorak, Johannes Brahms, Wolfgang A. Mozart and Sergei Prokofiev.
Also a member of this group, the capital city of the French department of Haute-Normandie, stressed the intent of these presentations, which, up to expose the personal glory, stands the educational value.
"That's why we emphasize the link with the music schools of the island to foreign guests appreciate the dynamism of our schools, and the alternatives that apply to the lack of resources for non-stop training."
Chio said that with the support of the Cuban Institute of Music and the National Center of Concert Music is expected to bring to this nation in 2013 in the Opera Orchestra of Rouen, in its entirety.
This time we want to offer a series of concerts linked to educational meetings, he said.
