Between 9 and 11 March will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, the World Athletics Championships in room where A delegation of eleven athletes representing Cubaa, including the record-holder Dayron Robles.

The only gold medal went to Dayron Robles in 7.34 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles and three second places were Yargelis Savigne (14.86 meters), the triple jumper also Yoandri Betanzos (17.69) and the Quattrocento William Collazo (46.31 seconds .)

The bronze went to Arnie David Giralt in the triple jump of 17.36.
