Safora Francisco, CNPES technical advisor, told reporters that stakeholders can compete with more than 10 years of age, by the methods of storytelling, poetry, testimony, photographs, educational poster, song and multimedia, where they relate to the importance of physical exercise for health.
The event seeks to measure, he added, the level of social awareness on the issue, and it is hoped that the information provided by every experience contributes to reveal areas of need.
He said the citizens of developing a responsible awareness about physical activity to prevent chronic noncommunicable diseases is a priority of the Cuban health authorities.
The contest is part of a special day that will develop the CNPES, by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation, in order to be held on April 6 World Day of Physical Activity.
According to the competition rules, each entry must be submitted to CNPES via mail or email, before 25 March, with personal data included.
