Aldo Lopez Gavilan presentation in Las Tunas

On Tuesday 8 the Cuban jazz musician Aldo Lopez Gavilan Junco appeared at the Teatro Tuna in the eastern province, this being one of the shows including his tour of the island.
During the presentation the young musician, accompanied by saxophonist Roberto Martinez, with whom the artist works for some time now, promote the disc contents of all colors and green too, that you just edit the Hummingbird label.
This is his first tour as a soloist island and is dedicated to the memory of his rogenitora Teresita Junco, one of the summits Cuban music education in the second half of last century.
Lopez studied at the School Hawk Elementary Music Manuel Saumell and then continued the average level in the centenary Amadeo Roldan Conservatory in Havana. He subsequently earned a scholarship at Trinity College, London, where he graduated with brilliant results.
Grower jazz fusion owns an important collection of awards in national and international competitions, among them the Cubadisco 2000 with their first CD in the twilight of the ant and the elephant, also nominated for the Latin Grammys, and the Grand Award the interpretation of Cuban music and the execution of works of his own creation in the Amadeo Roldán Piano Competition 1990.
